Description
The idea of an all-in-one vaporizer is no longer a new one. It’s been done a dozen times now, and it’s hard to get excited about the concept. Leaking issues, annoying filling mechanics, and underwhelming performance abound. But Joyetech eGo AIO is something special.
It’s part of the first wave of vaporizers built to proposed new European compliance standards. The result is a purposeful, streamlined design with no wasted elements or annoying mechanics.
It is the simplest sub-ohm vaporizer on the market. By a long margin. And it has clearly been designed for the average consumer. There are no complicated controls or cluttered displays. Just a sleek little mod with a single button.
While the AIO is a sub-ohm mod with airflow control, it is actually designed to be a lung-to-mouth device. This means that vaping it has the same mechanics as smoking a cigarette—pulling the vapor into your mouth first, only then inhaling into your lungs—making it an ideal starting kit for current smokers.
The 1,500-mAh battery may seem pretty small, but should give you a full day of vaping given its unregulated nature. Basically, because there are no power controls, the battery will fire at whatever voltage its current charge level allows. So it’ll perform best on a full charge, slowly decreasing in power as the battery depletes.
Finally, the AIO’s built-in tank features a child-safety top-fill mechanism and a splash guarding drip tip. The tank simple to fill, the coil head is easy to change, and the interior LED makes it easy to tell how much juice you have left.
This is an excellent device for new vapers who’re looking to keep it simple. But even if you’re an advanced vaper, this little mod is a fantastic secondary unit for stealth-vaping or getting your nicotine fix on the go.
