Frequently Asked Questions

Most e-liquid contains nicotine, and usually the higher concentration of the nicotine the more yellow it will appear due to how it reacts with other ingredients such as flavourings, vegetable glycerin or propylene glycol. Certain flavours can also contribute to a yellowish appearance of the e-liquid. Another common reason is oxidation, this happens when the e-liquid is exposed to air.

If you sense a burning taste when you inhale, this can be a due to a few things:

  1. You haven’t primed your new coil (Priming a coil means letting it soak in e-liquid before use, check out our guide for priming pods & coils)
  2. You wattage setting on the device is higher than your coil is capable of. Always check what wattage your coil is designed for and adjust accordingly
  3. Your coil/pod is at the end of it’s life and needs a replacement
  4. Your E-Liquids base ratio is not optimal for the device you are using. Liquids high in VG (Vegetable Glycerin Content) are significantly thicker and require sub-ohm tanks and higher wattage devices.
